Batavia Illinois Depot Museum BRIX Picks

The Batavia Depot Museum has exhibits detailing the history of rail transportation, manufacture of windmills, agriculture, banking, and commerce. Open from March - December, the Museum is located on the Riverwalk, on the west side of the Depot Pond.

Batavia Illinois Riverwalk 2 BRIX Picks

The Riverwalk extends along the Depot Pond and Fox River to a north point pavilion and is a perfect location for a leisurely walk. The Riverwalk is the site of summer cultural events and winter ice-skating. Paddleboats are available in the summer.

Batavia Illinois Bison Herd Fermi Lab BRIX Picks

FermiLab is a particle physics laboratory in Batavia that occupies a 6,800-acre site. In an area open to the public there is a bison herd of about 45 animals that is part of the long-term prairie restoration project. The adorable babies are born in the Spring.
